A symbolic lens.
Your choices remain yours.

Domicile and detriment

Traditional domiciles are Sun in Leo, Moon in Cancer, Mercury in Gemini and Virgo, Venus in Taurus and Libra, Mars in Aries and Scorpio, Jupiter in Sagittarius and Pisces, and Saturn in Capricorn and Aquarius. The opposite signs are traditionally called detriments.

Exaltation and context

Exaltation is another traditional dignity: Sun in Aries, Moon in Taurus, Mercury in Virgo, Venus in Pisces, Mars in Capricorn, Jupiter in Cancer, Saturn in Libra. Fall is the opposite sign. Dignity does not describe a person’s moral worth or determine an outcome.

A fuller evaluation

Traditional methods also consider triplicity, bounds, decans, sect, house position, and planetary condition. Asteria introduces the vocabulary but does not generate a full traditional dignity scoring system.
