What it describes
A thirty-degree minor aspect joins neighboring signs. Some modern astrologers interpret it as a small but persistent adjustment. It is usually given a narrower orb and less emphasis than major aspects.
How Asteria calculates it
The shortest angular separation between two planetary longitudes is compared with 30°. A match is included when the difference is at most 2°. The remaining difference is the orb. Orbs are conventions and differ between schools; Asteria’s chart includes major and selected minor longitude aspects.
