What it describes
A seventy-two-degree minor aspect divides the circle into five. Some modern schools associate it with creative organization or skill. It is a specialized symbolic technique rather than a universally accepted interpretive rule.
How Asteria calculates it
The shortest angular separation between two planetary longitudes is compared with 72°. A match is included when the difference is at most 2°. The remaining difference is the orb. Orbs are conventions and differ between schools; Asteria’s chart includes major and selected minor longitude aspects.
